Red vine varieties typical of the Salento area.
Vines per ha:
San Marzano, Salento, Puglia. At almost 100 meters above sea level, with a high average temperature and little rainfall during the year. The soil is mainly composed of clay, with an average depth which reaches up to 1 meter.
Second half of September..
Thermo-controlled maceration for about 10 days, followed by alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts.
In stainless steel tanks.
A wine that preserves its organoleptic characteristics for 5 years.
Colour: Deep ruby red with violet reflections;Aroma: intense and wide to the nose, with red fruit scent. Taste: full-bodied, fresh and balanced.
Best served With:
Excellent with sliced meats and salami, savory first courses, risotti and light meat courses.
